The Tafule Yaka restaurant and Kashabati bar overlook the Zambezi and offer the perfect perch to enjoy a meal or a sun downer. CONFERENCING ATTRACTIONSThe Caprivi region is well known for the rivers that flow through the area namely The Zambezi, Kwando, Mashi, Linyanti and Chobe Rivers. It is also home to 4 National parks, Bwabwata, Mudumu, Mamilli and Mahango National parks which are home to Elephant, Buffalo, Hippos, Lions, Leopards, Wild dogs, Lechwe, Reed buck and a variety of other common plains game species as well as over 400 bird species. The Caprivi is also a well known angling destination with Tiger fish being the most sought after species. There are several fishing tour operators in the area that offer either half day, full day or two-three day fishing packages. Tackle, refreshments and lunch are usually included. Chobe National Park is only 70km from the hotel and with excellent game viewing opportunities is definitely worth visiting. Victoria Falls is 200km from Katima Mulilo. Activity operators do day trips from Katima Mulilo to this world wonder. Day trips include refreshments and exclude entrance fees at the falls and visas. The guides will also do a lunch stop at one of the restaurants or hotels in Livingstone or Victoria Falls on request.
